When your content marketing vendor knows your business inside and out, marketing projects proceed swiftly and smoothly. That’s why Marjorie Constable, Director and Content Lead for Global Cloud Partner marketing at SAP, recently chose the Content Bureau for an important assignment: creating a video to showcase how an SAP Cloud Partner is operating and building a successful Cloud business.
“We had a unique point of view for this video. We knew that our audience would be all digital consumers—potential and existing partners, customers, and prospects,” Constable explains. “We hadn’t worked with The Content Bureau on videos before, but this was an easy choice.” The Content Bureau has created dozens of messaging frameworks, product brochures, infographics, white papers, and other content for this SAP team over the past several years. “When I talk to the Content Bureau about our marketing objectives,” says Constable, “there’s no ramp-up time needed—they already get it.”
Under an extremely tight deadline—“we needed it, like, yesterday”—the Content Bureau visited SAP’s offices to record the partner interview, then turned the footage into a clear and concise video about the benefits of partnering with SAP in the Cloud. Constable then threw the team a curveball: in addition to the short video for SAP and its partners to post online, she needed a longer version to be shown during an event keynote address just a week away. And the Content Bureau delivered.
“The team’s flexibility and follow-up turned a difficult and complex marketing project into a complete pleasure,” Constable says. “But the Content Bureau wasn’t just professional—the end product precisely met our needs for digital content marketing to reach online consumers. Sixty percent of today’s Cloud customers make their buying decisions online, so videos like this one are critical. The Content Bureau gets this.”
